I don’t know about you, but I can easily get in a dinner rut cooking the same meals week after week. Then, my we get bored of it, and start to eat out way too much. Spending way too much money, and eating way too many calories!
A couple weeks ago I was trying to get out of the rut and was going through my recipe books and was so excited to find old recipes that felt new! Although this was fun and exciting, it was very time consuming. Then I did a little online searching for some new recipes and stumbled upon eMeals—and its name isn’t very telling of what it really is, so stay with me.
This awesome website is a subscription for not only recipes, but they give you a meal plan for the week PLUS a grocery list for every ingredient you need to buy! You choose your family size, your store, and your meal plan type—such as kid friendly, clean eating, vegetarian—they even have paleo and gluten free plans. Every week you get an email with your meal plan, and a grocery list that’s organized by category, and the meal plan even aligns with your store’s sales!
This is my second week of using this awesome service and I’m super impressed. With my busy life, this takes one thing off my list, and it also gets me out of my cooking rut. I’ve had so much fun cooking these new dishes and the hubs has had no complaints—the meals have been fantastic.
Now you may start to wonder, do I have time to make new meals every night. Well, what makes eMeals even more fantastic, if the above wasn’t enough, is that most of the meals take a total of about 30 minutes to make including prep and cook time which is awesome. Then, I’ve just been saving the longer cooking and prep time meals for the weekends!
The eMeals website (emails.com) has sample meal plans you can check out, and you can subscribe for three months for $30 (use promo code Dinner15 for a 15% discount).
This has been such a time-saver for me, and I’ve saved money too! Not only have I saved money on my grocery bill, but we have been eating at home a lot. Take a few minutes and check it out, and let me know what you think of it.
With love,
K
